Everyday Artifact
Everyday Artifact uses a proprietary technique to apply images directly onto metal, then coat them with a jewelry resin. The result is a simple work that is rich in detail. The Pendants are solid sterling silver, with the resin coating. The earrings are .999 fine silver electroplated over brass, coated with resin. The necklace cord is a braided nylon cording material with sterling silver clasps. It has the look of a silk cord with much greater durability.
Their goal is to put forward imagery and words that can serve as emotional anchor points. They choose to work in black and white because it is both classic and effectively evokes memories and timelessness. Artisan designed and created in their 100% solar powered Santa Fe, New Mexico studio. The methods and materials used have low impact on the environment, but hopefully high impact on the human spirit.
